Vintage 30’s Peach Pink Silk Bias Cut Nightgown Gown Lingerie

This slinky vintage nightgown comes from the late 30’s, possibly to the early 1940’s. It is peachy pink in color with embroidered and appliquéd flowers along the bust. The fabric is used on the bias, or diagonally, for a beautiful draping effect.
Four panels of fabric, two at the front and two at the back form the top. At the front they curve to the body from the raised waistline to the shoulders. A deep cut at the neckline gives a tease of what is beneath.
The back has two panels across the shoulders, angled to the sides of a long back panel that falls all the way to the floor.
The skirt has four gores, located two on either side, to add a touch of fluttery fullness. Long attached ties wrap from the waist under the arms, around the back for a hand tied bow, leaving extra to flutter down past the rear.

None, missing button and string loop at neckline, pinned for images, probably had a small button and thread loop closure

Condition
Excellent
It is missing a small button and loop at the neckline, and their departure left a pair of tiny pinholes in the fabric.
There is one hole, the size of an ink pen tip about 1” from the hem in one of the gores.
There are a couple of small, faint marks toward the hem; no other blemishes.
The fabric along the bust dart shows a small amount of pulling, shown above. The fabric at the left underarm has about 1/4” that has come unattached to the white piping around the arm hole, also shown above.
It has been hand washed and dried flat
