Vintage Child’s Red Embroidered Madeira Apron

This cute little embroidered apron will be lovely for your little helper in the kitchen!
The cherry red cotton fabric is embroidered and stitched with white cotton floss, and trimmed with white rickrack. The two scoop shapes in the design on the front are actually pocket holes. Each accesses a single large pocket area, the full size of the apron. The thin red ties are zig-zag stitched their full length.
This is likely a tourist item, a novelty gift from a trip from Portugal or Spain.
