Vintage 60’s Red Gingham Check Shirtwaist Day Dress S

This fun vintage dress is a classic shirtwaist, with a shirt style bodice and full skirt. The pattern joins dark red and creamy gray in a subtle gingham check.
The bodice has a great figure flattering cut and a roomy fit without being untidy. The collar can be worn buttoned up or open a bit, depending on your mood. The sleeves can be worn cuffed or longer, which is your choice as well.

The skirt is full and can be worn over a crinoline as shown (not included), or without for a more casual look..

Pair this beauty with hose and heels for a dressy look, or with Mary Janes and a vintage cardigan for casual comfort.

I have shown this with a chunky bead necklace and wide patent belt (not included) as a suggestion for a great look.

No tears or stains. One small nip in the fabric, shown, has been secured with fray-check glue. There is some pilling overall, with the most at the underarms and here and there on the skirt.
It has been freshly laundered.
