Vintage 60’s Jewel Teal Satin & Lace Empire Waist Cocktail Party Dress XXS XS

This lovely dress is ready for a night out, a cocktail party, or other fancy occasion. The top is fitted to the bust curves, and is covered with a lovely tulle lace with a floral pattern. The empire, or raised, waist is highlighted by a band of satin, which ends at the back in a tidy little bow.
From the waistline down is part trapeze, part princess seaming, as the dress is still mostly fitted to the waist, where it flares out to a wide hem.

I have shown this with a chunky bead necklace as a suggestion for a great look.

Very Good
No holes or tears. There are a few minor stains that should lighten significantly or be removed with a dry cleaning. Noted in the pictures are: a line along the left hip where the fabric folded in storage, two dots near the hem, a light streak in the coloration of the fabric, and what appears to be alteration on the bodice lines in the form of thin needle holes.
When found, this dress had hem damage. The hem was raised to cocktail length, and hand stitched, just as the original hem was, with the original lace hem tape re-used.

It has been in storage for some time, a dry-cleaning is recommended before wearing.
