Vintage 50’s Black *Colorful Binoculars* Novelty Print Day Dress S

This fun vintage dress has a great novelty print of colorful binoculars overall.
The jet black fabric is the perfect background to bring out the yellow and orange binoculars, done with a painterly hand in an outline form. The bodice has a dolman cut, with darts to fit the curves. The elbow length sleeves end with a tab and decorative button. These buttons are the same as those at the chest. Here a fabric flap folds over to close the dress in a double-breasted fashion. The buttons also make an appearance at the back, where two criss-crossing flaps are tipped on each end with a decorative button.
The skirt is full and can be worn over a crinoline as shown (not included), or without for a more casual look.

I have shown this with a wide patent belt and chunky bead necklace as a suggestion for a great look.

Very Good
A small vertical hole just above the waist has been repaired. A small piece of fabric was stitched to the under-side, with vertical and horizontal stitches all around for strength. Fray Check was added, just to be safe. The placement is just above a wide belt, so it is less than noticeable when worn.
It has been freshly laundered.

The dress was clipped back for display and fit at picture time.
