Vintage 50’s Gray & Red *Summer Fun* Play Suit M

This fabulous vintage playsuit is from the late 1950’s, maybe early 60’s.
It will be great for wearing to a beach-side party or a back yard bar-b-que party.

It has a tailored to shape, soft cup bust area and adjustable buttoned straps for a secure and comfortable fit. The stretchy fabric has a nice heather-like visual texture, and the trim is calico print red cotton. There are belt loops at the waist, but no belt was found with the suit. I have shown the suit with a standard skinny black patent belt (not included) to show off the loops and how the suit would look if you add a belt from your personal collection.

Good
Fabric still stretchy, but the leg opening elastic is not. The red trim fabric on the legs is doubled up into the leg opening on the left leg, but has come undone on the right leg. I tacked it back up along the seam allowance and a few other places for display purposes, but did not go all around the opening as it is on the left side.
The original belt is missing.
This was hand washed and line dried when found.

It fits her well with a bit of room to spare throughout.
