Vintage 80’s Floral Animal Print Halter Sun Dress XS S

This fun vintage dress is a good example of the 50’s influence that was seen in the 80’s.
The print is a fun blend of tiger striped golden brown and black, and a floral design in black and white print on white fabric. The halter style bodice has a heavily smocked back, with loads of springy elastic for a perfect fit. The bodice is also boned along the center of the bust, for extra support. Long white straps tie behind the neck.
The bodice drops a bit below the natural waist, with an angled shape at the belly. The skirt has a nice flirty fullness. There are pockets along each hip seam.

No holes, tears or stains.
There are a few loose threads on the halter straps, as the fabric edge was not rolled inside the fabric fold-over to protect it. They were stitched to the outside of the fold.
It has been freshly laundered.

Tag size “11”, vintage size. The measurements are as follows. Measurements are of the garment, not the potential wearer, so please compare these measurements to your best fitting similarly styled garment to ensure a good fit. Don’t forget to allow room for movement and comfort.

The mannequin modeling has measurements of 32, 24, 34. The dress fits her well without using much of the stretch offered by the smocked back.
