Vintage 70’s Cream Linen Floppy Wide Brim Hat

This lovely wide brim hat has a little bit of that flower child flair.

The slightly rough textured linen fabric is creamy white and lightweight for summer comfort. The shallow crown is formed by 6 gores of fabric. It is encircled by a self-fabric cord which ends in a bow tie at the back. The crown is offset on the wide brim, giving a larger overhang at the front. The wide brim is wired a few inches from the outer edge, so that the outer couple of inches fall naturally all around.
There is a white headed hat pin at the back, included as it was found.

This lovely hat would be wonderful paired with a Gunne Sax style dress, or summer sun dress for a garden party.

Excellent
No damage or holes. There is a faint bit of yellow at the outer edge of the right of the brim, not terribly noticeable. It might clean out if you are adventurous enough for a water soak.
