Vintage 50’s Black Zephyr Wool Knit BRADLEY Sweater & Skirt Dress Set S

This gorgeous vintage ensemble from knitwear producer Bradley comes to you in rare, excellent condition. The zephyr wool knit is deepest black, soft, and stretchy, with a wonderful lightly bumpy texture.
The sweater top has elbow length sleeves and charming silver metal buttons set with a huge rhinestone center. The dolman cut bodice is adorned with swirled applied cord in scalloped shapes. In between these shapes are self-fabric 3D leaf shaped appliqués. The decorations run around the stretch knit collar, from shoulder to front. The hem is a stretch knit waistband so the sweater fits snug on the waist or hips.
The skirt is slim and long to past the knee. It has wide knit ridges running vertically down the length of the skirt. It has a simple elasticized waistband, and the knit stretches to show your curves.
The sweater would look great with jeans, as well, or pair the set with a white blouse and wear the sweater open in the front like a jacket.

This set was found in its original Bradley labeled box. The box is yours with the purchase, if you want it.
