Vintage 60’s Blue Wool Pencil Skirt Suit with Crop Jacket S

This lovely vintage suit is a timeless classic. The soft blue color has just a hint of a periwinkle hue-just enough to be unique, not so much that it looks like sky blue. The blue is flecked with white threads, giving a little visual texture.
The dress is simple, with darts tailored in all the right places for a curvy look. he skirt is slim fitting, with a generous closed kick pleat for movement. The neckline has a slit, which is mimicked on the top of the short sleeves. The dress is both stylish and comfortable when topped with the matching jacket.
The jacket has a wide set collar and deep V neckline, descending down to the belly where an oversized self-fabric covered button acts as the only closure. The sleeves are three-quarter length on most, and are lined with the same satin as the rest of the jacket-how comfy! This great jacket would also look great when added to a Tshirt and jeans to make a classy outfit.

I have shown this with a chunky bead necklace as a suggestion for a great look.

Good
There are some repairs to the dress, two of which are shown above. I have used a matching thread to reweave a few moth nibbles, drawing the areas closed. The results are fairly invisible. There is one on the lower bust/belly, one on the lower tush, and one at the back of the knee.
It has been dry cleaned.
