Vintage 40’s Black Lace Mesh Summer Weight Wide Brim Hat

This lovely vintage hat has a wonderful wide brim, but is light as a feather. The body is formed of intertwined lace-like bands of thin threads. The crown is soft and small, with a velvet ribbon and bow surrounding it. The brim is adorned with a scalloped band of mesh. An elastic band holds the hat neatly to the back of the head, positioned over neatly styled curls.

Excellent
No holes or stains, the outer band may have shifted a bit, as it is held in place by a stitch at each inner part of the scallop. Some adjusting can be done, if desired.
