Vintage 50’s Cream Tan Short Dress Gloves

Vintage gloves can be so lovely, and yet so simple. This pair is certainly an example of that.
They are creamy tan in color, and short in length, to the wrist on most. They have a simple running matching thread top stitch around the fingers. The top of the hand is adorned with a simple loose "S" shape that is topstitched into place. The tops of the cuffs have a cutout decoration, bordered by more topstitching.

Nylon, flat knit with some stretch

Condition
Very good
No holes or tears. There is the very faintest evidence of wear in the form of very minimal softening of the edges of the fabric, most noticable at the fingertips.
The left glove has a small dot on the palm, just below the thumb, which looks like a pen mark.
They have been freshly hand washed.

Measurements
Measurements taken with the glove laying flat:
8” finger tip to cuff end
3” across the palm
Fingers are approx .75” across and .5" thick
Thumb is 1.1” across 3.75” across cuff
