How does the potato chip ad go, "Everything's better with ridges"? Well this skirt sure great, and it has ridges aplenty! The rich navy blue color is on a nice mid-weight cotton. Starting a few inches below the waist there are two rows of ridges, then three, five, seven, and nine. The ridges are a formed by a classic treatment, where a fabric cord is placed on the back side of the fabric and stitched around on the top, so that the shape forms a relief to the fabric--voila! Ridges!
The skirt is full and can be worn over a crinoline as shown (not included), or without for a more casual look.

No holes, tears or stains.
There is some lightening to the fabric at the edges and on the top of the ridges. Buttons at waist don't match each other. A few stitches are loose between ridges here an there, and one ridge has been partially removed from the front side.
The skirt has been freshly laundered.

The skirt was clipped back for display and fit at picture time.
