Vintage 70’s Enid Collins of Texas “Milles Fleurs” Jeweled Box Purse Handbag
This fun vintage purse will be a sassy addition to your purse collection, or a fun purse to carry every day.
It is a Collins of Texas, which was made by the Tandy Corporation after they purchased the company from Enid Collins. This design is Enid’s, though, as she made many versions of this design, “Milles Fleurs”.
This example is a rectangular box purse, made of cream finished wood. Gold paint forms the base for the design. Metal shapes border large faceted jewels in clear and amber tones. The jeweled design decorates the top and front.
The inside has a full sized mirror on the inside of the lid. The Collins of Texas logo is on the bottom inside of the purse.
The triple ball closure is gold toned metal, as is the handle hardware. The handle is cream white plastic, attached to the lid.
